Vladimir Vasilyevich Kulagin

Kulagin was born between 1920 and 1925 in the Saratov Oblast. As of 1946, he was working for an MVD communications unit in Berlin. On 22 March 1946, he defected to the French Zone of Berlin, and he was soon taken to Baden Baden in the French Occupation Zone of Germany. From there, he sent an anti-Soviet letter to his former military colleagues, in which he claimed to have not been Kulagin but Semenov, the adjutant to a Colonel Zakharov of the ROA. In 1952 his name appeared in a list of French intelligence agents living in Germany. No further information is available about his whereabouts after that.[i]
